| The Magnolia Men's Club - Synopsis |
THE MAGNOLIA MEN’S CLUB is the story of an elite, secret sex club instituted in 1900 Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and surviving through to present day. A modern day female member of the Club, displeased with the abuse and out-of-control sexual play, makes the decision to extract herself from the brutal activities forever. But a severe auto accident stops everything and she inexplicably wakes inside the Club in the year 1905. Strange circumstances dismiss her as the property of the Club. Now known as the Widow Alicia Hopkins, she is banished to a pampered life in Farmington, Pennsylvania. She faces severe adjustment difficulties but prevails, hopeful of comfort and contentment. All is deception as Alicia becomes the prime suspect in the murder of the man who had granted her freedom. In peaceful post-Victorian Farmington, Alicia falls in love with Doctor Nathan Booker. Nathan, a non-participating and non-approving member of the Club, is pulled into the investigation as the real murderer manufactures strong evidence to pinpoint the good doctor as a shrewd accomplice. Lost in time and love, Alicia must find a way to clear herself and Nathan, or find a way back to her own time. |
