I’m Debbie Riley-Magnus and I am a writeaholic. For the past twenty years I have been seriously dedicated to writing literary pieces in an effort to find publication. Over the past five, I’ve written voraciously and developed a strong readership following by publishing online on both paid and unpaid websites with everything from literary to fan fiction to erotica. It’s not only been fun but extremely satisfying, fulfilling my need to tell stories and find valuable feedback. Along with a creative partner, I currently own a successful writing web site, Whispers of the Muse where the beat goes on and on and on.

This all comes from somewhere, of course. I have a twenty-seven year professional background in marketing, advertising and public relations as a graphic designer and writer for print, television and radio. I’m also a retired culinary chef, currently living in Pittsburgh, PA where I own a small marketing consulting business and … of course … write.

I have lived on both the east and west coast of the United States; have traveled the country widely for work, play and spiritual studies. It all feeds my need to write. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
